Position: Commis comptable / Accounting Clerk

Division/Department: Finances / Comptabilité

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining systems for purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and cheque requests.
• Ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors according to policies.
• Supporting verification and reporting of hotel revenues.
• Processing accounts payable invoices and resolving related issues.
• Performing month-end closing reports and reconciliations.
• Training operational teams on accounting practices.
• Participating in inventory counts and other financial tasks.

Requirements:

• Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, controls, and policies.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
