Job description

Location: Montreal, Canada

We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to play an essential role in our studio's financial management. Your expertise will help keep our business on the path to success.

What you'll do :

1. Record vendor invoices and ensure they are paid on time.
2. Record and reconcile credit card transactions.
3. Follow up with customers on overdue invoices.
4. Set up new customers, contracts, and projects in D365 based on SOWs.
5. Process employee reimbursements.
6. Create monthly intercompany and external invoices.
7. Ensure all intercompany balances are recorded and reconciled.
8. Record daily bank transactions in D365 and ensure they reconcile.
9. Assist the finance team with ad-hoc requests during month-ends to meet deadlines.

What we're looking for :

• Basic knowledge of Excel.
• Good team player and hard worker.
• Diploma / Certification in Accounting.
• 1 year of accounting experience in Canada.
• Prior experience with D365 is an asset.
• A proactive 'Make It Happen' attitude, willing to work under pressure and support organizational needs.
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of English, with strong writing skills to communicate with the HQ finance team.
