Job summary

Inovata Foods Corp. in Tillsonburg, Ontario, seeks a Commercialization Project Manager to drive new and revised product launches from concept through to market, coordinating with Product Development, QA, Operations, and Sales.

You will manage timelines, run cross-functional meetings, and ensure data accuracy in ERP and customer portals, enabling timely, compliant product introductions for millions of consumers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in regulatory affairs, food science, project management, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of PM, commercialization, regulatory, quality, operations, or product launch experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of product movement from concept to launch in a food business.
• Experience with CFIA, FDA, and USDA requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercialization process for new products, changes, reformulations, packaging changes, and customer launches.
• Chair weekly or bi-weekly cross-functional commercialization meetings with clear agendas and owners.
• Maintain trackers, timelines, risk logs, action registers, and launch readiness checklists.
• Manage multiple launches simultaneously and meet deadlines or escalate risks early.
• Schedule R&D activities, customer samples, internal reviews, plant trials, and milestones.
• Coordinate trial preparation with objectives, ingredients, packaging, line time, QA, operations, procurement, and measurements.
• Connect Product Development, Operations, QA, Procurement, Regulatory, Sales, Packaging, Finance, Engineering, and customers for timely decisions.
• Document decisions, issues, risks, and follow-ups to avoid reliance on memory.
