Job summary

Fountain Tire Barrhead is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician. You will work on trucks, farm, industrial and OTR tires, performing inspections, installations, balancing, rotations and repairs while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

The role requires physical work, safety focus and the ability to be on-call after hours. What you do daily includes inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating and/or repairing

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial tire experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s Abstract.
• Able to lift 100 pounds and work in wet, cold, windy conditions.
• On-call availability after hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and/or repair truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires.
• Greet and communicate with customers on repair, service and tire sales.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers on the job.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Adapt to different vehicles and tire types daily.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• At least 1 year of commercial tire experience in a professional setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required
