Job summary

Fountain Tire Peace River is looking for an experienced Commercial Tire Technician to operate a Tire Manipulator Service Truck and service farm, truck, and industrial tires. You will join a team that values safety, skill, and customer service.

Day-to-day work includes inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating and repairing tires while delivering professional service. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required. Relocation and strong benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Farm, OTR or Commercial tires.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• On-call availability after hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair truck, farm or industrial tires and wheels.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to wow clients.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers on site, road or field.
• Operate a Tire Manipulator Service Truck as part of daily tasks.

Whatkind of person are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone with proven experience working with Farm, OTR, or Commercial tires
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, air brakes endorsement (Q) is preferred but not required
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds if required
