Job summary

Forma Steel, located in Fort Macleod, AB, is seeking a Commercial Success Representative to support and grow our commercial and institutional customer base. You will work with customers, contractors, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements, develop accurate estimates, and coordinate orders from inquiry to quotation.

You will be responsible for preparing estimates and takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and project needs, while identifying opportunities and solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in building product knowledge and advising customers on solutions.
• Ability to review architectural/construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience supporting commercial/institutional construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing responsive, solutions-focused service.
• Communicate product information, pricing, project updates, and timelines with internal teams.
• Prepare accurate estimates, material takeoffs, quotations, and preliminary budgets from drawings and specs.
• Support commercial and institutional projects from initial estimating through quotation and order coordination.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Forma Steel products and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate estimating and customer satisfaction.

Forma Steel specializes in manufacturing high-quality steel roofing,siding, trim, and custom panels in a wide range of gauges, colors, andfinishes. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, AB, approximately 25minutes West of Lethbridge.

Commercial Success Representative

Scope

As a CommercialSuccess Representative, you will play an important role in supporting andgrowing Forma Steel’s commercial and institutional customer base. You will workclosely with customers, contractors, architects, and engineers to understandproject requirements, develop accurate estimates, recommend product solutions,and support projects from initial inquiry through quotation and ordercoordination.

Key Responsibilities

CustomerRelationships & Communication

• Build and maintain strong customerrelationships by providing responsive, solutions-focused service.
• Communicate product information, pricing,project updates, and timelines while working with internal teams to ensurea positive customer experience.

Estimating &Technical Support

• Prepare accurate estimates, materialtakeoffs, quotations, and preliminary budgets using construction drawings,specifications, and project requirements.
• Identify project discrepancies andrecommend practical product solutions that meet customer and projectneeds.

Commercial ProjectDevelopment

• Support commercial and institutionalprojects from initial estimating through quotation and order coordination.
• Liaise with architects, engineers,contractors, and other industry professionals to clarify projectrequirements, communicate product capabilities, and identify new businessopportunities.

Product Knowledge& Collaboration

• Maintain strong knowledge of Forma Steelproducts, applications, and various construction methods.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlineswhile collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate estimating,effective coordination, and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Requirements

• Minimum often (10) years of experience in construction estimating, including preparationof estimates and takeoffs for construction projects.
• Experiencein project management.
• Demonstratedexposure to and understanding of different construction methods.
• Experiencereviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, construction drawings,specifications, and project documents.
• Experiencesupporting commercial and/or institutional construction projects is required.
• Experienceworking directly with customers and coordinating with architects, engineers,contractors, or other project stakeholders is strongly preferred.
• Experiencein steel building products, roofing, cladding, siding, or related buildingmaterials is an asset.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education inconstruction, engineering technology, drafting, or a related field is an asset.
• Proficiencywith CAD‑based software and estimating/takeoff tools is preferred.
