Tayco is seeking a Commercial Space Designer in Etobicoke to support design solutions, product recommendations, and timely pricing. You will work with the sales team to grow existing customers and develop new ones, helping to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

The role requires understanding Tayco’s offerings, generating quotes, and coordinating with engineering on custom requests. Hybrid work options are available, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Degree, Diploma, or Certificate from a post-secondary institution; or two years experience in any related field
• Project Management experience is considered an asset
• Ability to read, interpret, and re-create Architectural Drawings/Floor Plans and specs
• Must know CET, AutoCAD, 20-20, Giza, Rendering software or related programs; MS Word/Excel knowledge and email use
• Ability to learn new programs, adapt to change, and handle multiple tasks
• Strong communication, listening, spelling and grammar for effective customer interactions
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and workload prioritization
• Teamwork and leadership capabilities; basic math and geometry understanding
• Problem solving and negotiation to manage complex situations
• Knowledge of industry, space planning, and the full order process to inform decisions

Responsabilidades

• Provide design solutions, product recommendations, and pricing information to customers
• Maintain a high-volume quotation process and manage territory
• Gather project information, specifications, and requirements from customers
• Review drawings and parts lists for accuracy and completeness
• Present final drawings and pricing to customers and address questions
• Cross-sell and upsell to increase sales and order value
• Coordinate with service and order teams to ensure smooth quote-to-order transition
• Support other team members when needed
