Job summary

Yan Muirhead LLP in Vancouver is seeking an associate to join our civil and commercial litigation team. We handle shareholders disputes, real estate litigation, and professional negligence with a collegial, client-focused approach.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience, outstanding writing and advocacy, strong organizational skills, and a desire to grow as an advocate. Base salary ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 with a target of 1,700 hours.

Responsibilities

• Join Yan Muirhead LLP's civil/commercial litigation team and contribute to a broad practice.
• Prepare pleadings, conduct research, and assist with advocacy in court or hearings.
• Deliver high-quality work in a collegial, client-focused environment.

We offer a supportive environment, excellent benefits, and a competitive compensation package with a negotiable hourly target. We expect the base salary to be between $130,000 and $180,000 based on a target of 1,700 hours. We do not have fixed billable targets and will be flexible to accommodate a candidate who prefers a lower target.
