Job summary

Schill Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to grow and protect a portfolio of commercial clients. You will build strong relationships, lead strategic conversations, and apply technical judgement to assess risk and structure coverage effectively.

You will act as a trusted advisor, manage including renewals, endorsements, and changes in exposure, and contribute to Schill’s long-term growth with proactive prospecting and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Level 2 general insurance license required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, products and risk exposures.
• Experience with Epic or similar broker management systems.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for retention, growth, and overall client experience of current book.
• Drive new business through referrals, networking, and proactive prospecting.
• Lead client meetings focused on understanding operations, uncovering risk, and positioning Schill as a trusted advisor.
• Build and maintain a visible presence in the community to attract new opportunities.
• Maintain an active pipeline and follow through on sales opportunities.
• Provide regular updates on sales activity, market wins and losses, and emerging opportunities.
• Act as the primary relationship contact for commercial clients, balancing advisory credibility with commercial outcomes.
• Lead renewal conversations with a focus on changes in operations and market conditions.
• Assess client operations, risk exposures, and coverage needs, and provide clear recommendations.
