Qualifications

• Relevant training certificates (Fall Protection, First Aid, Aerial Work Platform) may be required.
• Background check must be passable.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in lighting is required.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches or follow diagrams to locate wiring and equipment, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before finishing walls, ceilings or floors.
• Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure future maintenance access.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, or fixtures per job specs and local codes.
• Install control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels; install feeders, power systems, and switchgear.
• Repair faulty equipment or systems.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install or repair wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Advise management on potential hazards of continued equipment operation.
• Train apprentices as required.
