Working at the intersection of government, industry, and global energy markets, APMC collaborates with stakeholders across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors to identify opportunities that enhance Alberta’s competitiveness and long-term resource value. Guided by its vision to maximize the value of Alberta’s resources, APMC fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, and strategic thinking.

This role plays a critical part in driving value creation across natural gas supply, transportation, storage, and sales activities while ensuring alignment with APMC’s broader strategic objectives.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Commercial Lead serves as a key decision-maker and collaborates closely with origination, trading, risk management, and operations teams to capitalize on market opportunities, optimize portfolio performance, and support the growth of Alberta’s energy sector.
