Job summary

BFL CANADA, located in downtown Montreal, is seeking a Client Service Representative to manage and service a profitable book of business within our program group. You will handle client inquiries, document review, and invoicing support while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring accuracy.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in the industry, an AMF license, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience is required.
• AMF license is required.
• Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Professional Lines insurance and policy wordings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with EPIC is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Address client inquiries related to assigned insurance programs, providing timely and accurate information.
• Respond promptly to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.
• Request, track, and follow up with insurers and clients for missing information, endorsements, or policy documentation.
• Review policy wordings and associated documentation for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting any errors as needed.
• Create abeyances and follow up on outstanding items from underwriters and clients to ensure timely resolution.
• Track and follow up on outstanding client receivables to ensure that accounts are up to date.
• Prepare and manage the monthly Bordereau for assigned programs, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Support EPIC invoicing processes for assigned programs.
• Assist with various special projects and perform other duties as required by management.

Your day as a client service representative
