Job summary

BFL CANADA is seeking a Client Service Representative for its Blainville office to manage a profitable book of business, respond to client inquiries on insurance programs, and coordinate with insurers for required information.

The role requires 2+ years in the industry, AMF license, willingness to obtain RIBO, and strong French/English communication. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• AMF license required; willing to obtain RIBO license.
• Bilingual in French and English with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; EPIC familiarity is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service a profitable book of business.
• Address client inquiries related to insurance programs with timely, accurate information.
• Coordinate with insurers and clients for missing data and documentation.
• Review policy wordings for accuracy and completeness.
• Create abeyances and follow up on outstanding items with underwriters and clients.
• Track receivables and manage monthly Bordereau for assigned programs.
• Support EPIC invoicing processes and assist on special projects.

We are looking for a Client Service Representative Within our Program Group to join our team in our Blainville office!

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible to maintain and service a profitable book of business based upon the company’s objectives and individual business plans.

Your day as a client service representative

• Address client inquiries related to assigned insurance programs, providing timely and accurate information.
• Respond promptly to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.
• Request, track, and follow up with insurers and clients for missing information, endorsements, or policy documentation.
• Review policy wordings and associated documentation for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting any errors as needed.
• Create abeyances and follow up on outstanding items from underwriters and clients to ensure timely resolution.
• Track and follow up on outstanding client receivables to ensure that accounts are up to date.
• Prepare and manage the monthly Bordereau for assigned programs, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Support EPIC invoicing processes for assigned programs.
• Assist with various special projects and perform other duties as required by management.

Our ideal candidate

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience is required
• AMF license required
• Willing to get RIBO licensed
• Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English
• Comprehensive knowledge of Professional Lines insurance and policy wordings
• Demonstrated excellence in both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with EPIC is a strong asset
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
• Exceptional attention to detail
