Job summary

HUB International in Alberta is seeking a Commercial Insurance Associate to build relationships with new and existing clients, assess their needs and develop insurance solutions. You will educate clients on HUB offerings, maintain high standards of service, and collaborate with teammates to grow awareness and opportunities.

This role requires knowledge of commercial insurance, a Level 1 Insurance License or willingness to obtain, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Level 1 Insurance License or willingness to obtain; degree preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance required.
• 2+ years in commercial insurance preferred; training available.
• Friendly, outgoing with superior client service.
• Ability to upsell and cross-sell insurance products.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player.

The Opportunity

As a Commercial Insurance Associate, you'll build relationships with new and existing clients, identify their needs, and develop insurance solutions that fit. You'll educate clients on what HUB offers, maintain a high standard of client service, and collaborate with teammates to grow awareness of the business and bring in new opportunities.

What you will bring to the role

• Level 1 Insurance License or willingness to obtain University Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent years of experience is preferred
• Current knowledge in all aspects of commercial insurance is required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial insurance is preferred, although we are willing to train those with less
• Friendly, outgoing personality with superior client service skills
• Ability to successfully up sell and cross sell insurance products
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectivity in both written and verbal
• Works well in a fast paced, client-focused environment
• Proficiency with Broker Management Software Systems
