The Commercial Funding Administrator is responsible for daily maintenance of funding and administrative tasks, including preparing funding agendas, pipeline reporting, tax calculations, wire remittances, and documentation validation. They liaise with lending partners, solicitors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Coordinating and preparing the Daily Funding Agenda for senior management and internal teams.
  2. Managing pipeline reports for BES, CFG, and CMHC Funding groups, and posting on SharePoint.
  3. Completing Validator reports and supporting funding activities daily.
  4. Setting up property tax accounts, preparing tax calculations, and processing client communications.
  5. Uploading reports for closed transactions and addressing any gaps.
  6. Working with solicitors and partners to obtain final reports on closed deals and ensuring data accuracy.
  7. Processing wires and refunds accurately and promptly.
  8. Preparing weekly departmental reports and collaborating with internal teams.
  9. Participating in system testing, documentation, and reporting projects.
  10. Communicating daily with internal departments to resolve issues.
  11. Following departmental policies and completing tasks as assigned.
  12. Gathering data and preparing reports as scheduled.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in business administration, finance, or related discipline with 1-2 years’ experience in mortgage loan administration.
  • Experience in management reporting is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
