Canac in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC is seeking a truck driver to join their on-site operations. You will load and unload goods, drive straight or articulated trucks, and ensure cargo is secured and delivered safely.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, recording cargo data, communicating with dispatch, and maintaining accurate records of hours, distance, and fuel usage. A Class 3 or D license is required, with 2–3 years of related experience.

Formación

• 2 years to less than 3 years of trucking or related experience.
• On-site work with physical cargo handling.
• Driver's License required: Class 3 or D.

• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
