Job description

Our client, a large energy producer, is looking to hire a Commercial Contracts Advisor for an initial 12-month contract. This role is currently hybrid in Calgary.

The Commercial Contracts Advisor will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating standard and non-standard agreements related to crude oil, natural gas, and refined products commodities.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Ensure timely and accurate execution of TSL commodities purchase and sale agreements.
2. Coordinate with Front Office and support functions for drafting, negotiating, and amending agreements.
3. Work with Front Office and Support Functions to develop and improve agreements.
4. Manage retention of relevant documents.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience in negotiating various commodity purchase and sale contracts.
• Exceptional understanding of Incoterms.
• Experience in execution, management, and retention of contracts.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts.
• Proficiency in understanding legal contractual language.
