Vforce Commercial Cleaning is seeking a Projects Work Technician in Victoria, BC. This full-time role focuses on project-based cleaning services beyond routine janitorial duties, including carpet cleaning, window cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and floor care.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, physically capable, and able to deliver high-quality results. The role involves working with a team and may require flexible hours to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or floor care preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Physically capable for standing, walking, and lifting during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and solutions.
• Complete interior and exterior window cleaning safely and efficiently.
• Conduct post-construction cleaning projects.
• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers for stripping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Perform deep cleaning in offices, medical facilities, retail spaces, and other commercial properties.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed to complete project work.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain and properly store tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies for off-site projects.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues at job sites.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members.
• Complete required documentation such as work orders and project checklists.

This role focuses on project-based work including carpet cleaning, window cleaning, post-construction cleaning, floor scrubbing and waxing, deep cleaning, and other specialty services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, physically capable, and committed to delivering high-quality results that exceed client expectations.

• Perform commercial carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders/lifts)
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, or flexible shifts as projects require

Work Environment

This position works in various residential and commercial environments including offices, medical facilities, schools, industrial buildings, and construction sites. Work may be performed during off-hours, including nights and weekends, depending on client needs.
