Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to join the night crew. Shifts run 6–9 hours, typically starting between 4pm and 5pm, with teams of two working together to meet ServiceMaster Clean standards.

Position is full-time, located at 8 - 740 Huronia Road, Barrie, ON. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Driver's license is a strong asset for potential mobility.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and wash floors.
• Dust desks, phones and all surface areas.
• Vacuum carpeting and area rugs.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen.
• Clean, disinfect and polish bathrooms.
• Pick up debris and empty trash & recycling containers.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Maintain a positive professional attitude with customers and fellow workers.
• Be on time for all shifts.
• Work in accordance to the health & safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional image.
• Adhere to all ServiceMaster Clean standards.
• Ensure paperwork standards are adhered to.
• Follow all policies and procedures set in place by the Company.
• Report any hazards you may encounter immediately.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and report any problems.
• Complete clock in and out entries for time keeping and notify the office of any errors.
• Perform service as requested in warehouse/office/field.
• Attend all scheduled training events.
• Perform all cleaning and services on their scheduled day without supervision.
• Utilize a Helper when assigned.
• Never leave a building or company premises while still clocked in.
• Maintain janitors closets in customer accounts.
