ServiceMaster Clean in Burlington, Ontario is seeking an Evening Light Duty Cleaner. 4:30 pm start, ~30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license.

The role involves lifting up to 25 lb, standing, bending, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming to maintain client sites. This position is physically demanding and requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Driving company provided vehicle to client locations.
• General dusting, vacuuming, mopping.
• Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers.
• Emptying garbage and recycling.
• Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces.
• Spot cleaning of walls and glass.
• Sanitizing touchpoints.
• Additional tasks as requested.
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible.
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds client expectations.
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies.

Evening Light Duty Cleaner Position available out of our Burlington office. Must have valid Ontario drivers license.

Work Days: Monday to Friday 4:30 pm start time, approximately 30 hours per week.

This cleaning position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 25 lb), standing, bending, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Communicate in English both written and verbally
• Strong attention to detail
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial

WORKING CONDITIONS

There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.
