Job summary

Summit is seeking a Commercial Account Executive in Canada to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, delivering tailored coverage and exceptional service from quote to bind.

You'll lead in-bound leads, prospect new business, attend industry events, and collaborate with Account Management and Sales Development to expand the client base while maintaining strong client relationships and a high-performance mindset.

Qualifications

• Licensing: Level 2 insurance license required; RIBO license is asset.
• Minimum 3 years in insurance sales, production underwriting, or commercial marketing.
• Commercial lines experience is required.
• Strong sales and production track record with targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead management: handle warm commercial insurance leads and appointments from Summit's Sales Development Team with timely engagement.
• Prospecting & sales: consistently grow the sales pipeline using data-driven outbound programs and our automated CRM.
• Networking: attend local industry events to represent Summit and build underwriting relationships.
• Front line underwriting: assess risk profiles and advise on coverage solutions.
• Collaborate with Account Management to market leads to carriers and ensure smooth handoff.
• Follow up with leads to convert requests into loyal customers.
• Guide clients through quote to bind, ensuring a seamless experience.
