A leading health authority is seeking a Laboratory Combined Technologist to enhance patient safety and improve quality in their services. The role involves performing imaging and laboratory tests, managing requisitions, and working collaboratively with healthcare teams. Candidates will require a recognized qualification and show proficiency in operating related equipment while maintaining effective communication with clients and staff.

Reporting to the Supervisor or designate, the Laboratory Combined Technologist receives and completes requisitions, forms and reports; monitors patients; performs general imaging procedures, as qualified, including archiving acquired images; carries out routine Laboratory and ECG testing, as qualified; utilizes computerized patient data systems; and prepares and monitors supplies and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceGraduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/ Medical Radiography Technician Program; One (1) year recent related experience; or An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
