Jim Pattison Collision & Glass in Winnipeg, MB is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our high-volume collision facility. You will perform structural and cosmetic repairs, replace damaged panels, and ensure work meets manufacturer specifications.

You will work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, report to the Collision Manager, and collaborate with estimators, parts, and paint teams to keep repairs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Automotive Body Repair Certification required.
• Experience repairing and replacing body panels.
• Welding and metal repair skills.
• Frame and structural repair experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle measuring systems.
• Ability to read repair estimates and manufacturer procedures.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and cosmetic collision repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels and components.
• Weld, sand, fit, and prepare vehicles for the paint process.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Diagnose and document additional damage as needed.
• Work closely with estimators, parts, and paint departments to keep repairs on schedule.
• Reassemble vehicles, including trim, lighting, and safety-related components.
• Perform final quality inspections to ensure a safe, professional repair.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
