Job summary

ABL Employment is hiring a Shipper/Receiver in Delta to support a warehouse distributing refrigerated and frozen goods. The role is a temp-to-hire opportunity with escalating hourly pay and weekly payroll.

Shippers/Receivers will manage shipments, coordinate with supervisors and service providers, track shipments, and operate a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift in cold environments from -25C to -1C. Day shift runs 8am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• 1 year shipping/receiving experience required.
• 1 year of experience operating Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift.
• Valid forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipment and receipt of products, materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Customer Service Representatives, and service providers.
• Track, trace, and update status of incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Unload/load trucks and deliveries and sort receivables.
• Operate a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift.

We are hiring Shipper / Receivers with Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift certification and experience to work in a warehouse that distributes refrigerated and frozen goods! The refrigerated area is from -1 C to +2 C and the freezer area is -18C to -25C.

This is a convenient day shift that runs from 8am – 4:30pm in Delta!

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:

• – Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• – Collaborates and communicates with Supervisors, Customer Service Representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• – Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• – Unloads and loads trucks and deliveries and sorts receivables.
• – Operating a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift

Pay rate:

• – This is an exciting temp to hire opportunity with quick pay increases
• – Weeks 1 and 2: $20/hour
• – Weeks 3 to 6: $21/hour
• – Week 7 and beyond: $22/hour
• – We pay weekly every Friday!

Requirements:

• – Must have at least 1 year of Shipping / Receiving experience
• – Must have at least 1 year of experience operating the Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift
• – Must have valid forklift certification
