Job summary

Islands-West-Produce is seeking Order Pickers to efficiently pick products, check quality, and load pallets for shipment in a refrigerated warehouse environment in New Brunswick, Canada. You will operate with supervision of the Operations Manager and contribute to accurate order fulfillment.

The role emphasizes careful handling, attention to detail, and participation in team meetings and training. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided to support staff development and retention.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely bend, twist and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for the duration of shift.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficient operation of order picking, checking products for quality and accuracy, filling shorts, loading, and shipping.
• Checking and auditing picked orders for quality and accuracy.
• Practices a safe, organized working environment.
• Works with minimal supervision and from the guidance of their Supervisor/Operations Manager.
• Conducts inventory counts as directed.
• Ensures only the best possible product for the customer with great attention to detail.
• Attends team meetings, training sessions and professional development as directed.
