Job summary

Cavendish Farms on Prince Edward Island is seeking an experienced forklift operator to move finished goods, maintain inventory, and support loading activities in a cold environment. You will safely operate powered industrial trucks, inspect equipment daily, and ensure accurate stock through the DSI system.

The role requires teamwork and adherence to SQF/RKI standards. Applicants should have at least 1 year of forklift experience, the ability to lift 50 lb, and willingness to work rotating shifts

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 lb.
• Willingness to work in cold environments with provided cold-weather gear.
• Forklift certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Move Finished Goods and maintain accurate inventory in E1.
• Operate forklifts safely and stay aware of surroundings.
• Inspect forklift daily and document inspections.
• Follow all policies, procedures and manufacturing specs.
• Use the DSI system to scan and confirm product movement.
• Load trucks according to daily orders.
• Keep area clean and compliant with RKI and SQF standards.
