A division of Harris, AGO Insurance Software, Inc., is seeking an outgoing Cold Caller who enjoys talking to people. You will need to have a positive attitude and be quick on your feet to respond to prospects appropriately. Good customer relationship management skills, as well as persistence, are key to your success. Good organizational skills for follow-up will be crucial. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US, with a preference for the EST timezone. The role involves working 20 hours per week on a 4 to 6-month contract, with an opportunity to extend.

Typical duties and responsibilities

• Cold call P&C Insurance Carrier / MGA Administrator or Operations Manager
• Track your contact list provided by the company
• Explain products and services to prospects
• Keep track of potential prospects for follow-up or no longer want to be contacted
• Hand off qualified prospects to the product manager
• Meet your goals set forth by the company
• Assist with organic growth of the prospect list

Education and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
