Advanced Bending Technologies is seeking an experienced and energetic Coater Helper to join our Coating Department in Calgary, Alberta.

As part of a collaborative team at Advanced Bending, the Coater Helper will assist with sandblasting, coating, and shop upkeep.

Essential Functions for This Role

• Interpret work orders.
• Handle raw materials and finished products as needed.
• Perform production bending after setup.
• Prepare, paint, and coat products.
• Perform shop duties including torch cutting, saw cutting, washing, sand filling, etc.
• Measure and inspect in-process and finished products.
• Label and package finished products.
• Perform machine maintenance and station upkeep.
• Maintain shop cleanliness.
• Work according to the quality management system and complete all relevant records.
• Follow documented procedures and complete applicable records.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required

• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operation certification is an asset.
• Paint/coating experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, including inspection, testing, traceability, nonconformances, and record control.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and take on new responsibilities.
