Job description

We are currently accepting applications for a temporary Cook position with our Coastal Division.

Responsibilities

• Order catering supplies within budget, ensuring sufficient food for the voyage, including allowances for delays or unscheduled passengers.
• Store, prepare, and cook food safely and hygienically.
• Clean utensils and crockery.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley, storerooms, refrigerators, and mess rooms; refrigerators must be defrosted periodically.
• Follow proper hygienic practices in food preparation and serving.
• Ensure guards and safety features (e.g., refrigerator alarms) are functional.
• Keep galley's firefighting equipment unobstructed and ready for use.
• Contribute to ATL’s safety culture by understanding and complying with safety processes within the Safety Management System, and applying safe practices during physical tasks.
• Understand pollution regulations and the company's environmental protection objectives.
