Organigram Global in Aylmer, Ontario is seeking an Isolation/Post Processing Technician for day shift operations. Applicants should possess a minimum of a BSc along with one year of relevant experience, preferably in the cannabis industry. Qualifications

Job description
Isolation/Post Processing Technician – Day Shift
Position Overview
Operation, calibration and preventive maintenance of isolation equipment.
Handling large volumes of cannabis extracts and solvents.
Follow SOPs pertaining to all analytical testing and formulation equipment.
Manage inventory of processing material and necessary lab supplies and notify leadership of order replenishment.
Perform sanitation activities as per GPP requirements.
Ensure timely batch record completion with high accuracy.
Perform isolation and post processing tasks as assigned by manager in accordance with relevant SOPs.
Adhere to all SOPs for operation, QA and HSE.
Ensure 100% compliance with QA requirements during day-to-day activities.
Train and sign off all new employees or contractors as required.
Active participation in leading KPI discussion and achieved daily KPI production goals and indicate limitations in processes.
Lead submissions on monthly inventory reconciliation.
Sample preparation and submission for all required analytical testing to third party labs.
Identify improvement opportunities and report issues in order to maximize efficiency, quality and yield while ensuring safety and reliability.
Detail record keeping of batch data per Health Canada regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum BSc or equivalent with 1+ years laboratory, production/manufacturing, or pharmaceutical experience.
Experience within the cannabis industry is preferred.
Previous isolation experience within the cannabis industry preferred.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety while operating process equipment.
Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize.
Shows initiative and ownership of work and willingness to learn.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Physically fit; standing and/or sitting will be required for long periods of time and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable wearing a respirator (need to be clean shaven).
Must be able to work various shift schedules as required.
Must be able to do all required PPE (respirators, goggles, etc.).
Schedule
Half Continental rotating shift schedule (day shift): 4 days one week, 3 days the following week.
Sunday through to Saturday (7‑day operation).
Hours are 7:30am – 8:00pm (12.5 hours).
Breaks are: three 30 minute breaks to be broken up based on team needs and discussed with Supervisor/Manager.
