Job summary

Nutrien in Calgary invites a motivated student to join as a Co-op Student in Planning and Delivery. You will support procurement AI initiatives, assist in digital transformation projects, and help track savings and project outcomes during a 12-month term.

An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Calgary or Saskatoon corporate office beginning January 2027 for an approximate 12-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.

What You'll Do:

Working with the Manager for Planning and Continuous Improvements in the Procurement function, you will play a significant role in:

• Participate in Procurement AI initiatives and Proofs of Concept by supporting use-case development, testing, feedback collection, adoption, and change management
• Support new-age Procurement digital transformation projects, including SharePoint modernization and other technology initiatives, while gaining hands-on experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and execution
• Contribute to procurement savings execution by helping maintain work plans, track key initiatives, savings and business outcomes, and prepare updates and presentations for leadership
• Apply research and analytical skills to develop business cases, reports, dashboards, and management presentations while identifying opportunities to improve and automate business processes

What You'll Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a 2 to 4 year Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Data Analytics or related disciplines with a graduation date of Aug 2027 or later
• Preferred Skills:
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable with written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Curiosity and interest in technology, AI, data analytics, or process improvement
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse stakeholders
