Co-op Student, Corporate Accounting

Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a co-op accounting student for a 12-month term at our Calgary or Saskatoon corporate office, starting in April or May 2027. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will return to their studies after the term.

Responsibilities include preparing upload templates, assisting with variances, and documenting processes. Ideal candidates are in their 3rd or 4th year of accounting and proficient with Excel and Office products.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year students enrolled in an Accounting degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products with extensive knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail is critical.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a multi-task, deadline orientated, team environment.

• Assist with variance analysis of corporate business unit financial results, including receivables, prepaid expenses, debt, etc.
• Streamlining critical processes and creating process and procedural documentation.
• Support on-going initiatives and special projects.
