Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a motivated student for a co-op opportunity at our Calgary or Saskatoon corporate office, beginning May 2027 for an approximate 12-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to students who will return to their studies after the work term.

As a co-op accounting student, you will help with month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, lease analyses, and other accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4 year Accounting degree or equivalent related program with a graduation date of Aug 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month end closing procedures including monthly journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and treasury management transaction posting.
• Assist with lease account analysis and reporting to support key strategic objectives.
• Research discrepancies and communicate with other departments to resolve issues and support other ad hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned.
