Job summary

Nutrien’s Saskatoon office is seeking a motivated co-op student for an 8–12 month term starting January 2027. This full-time, hourly-paid role supports cash management and intercompany activities within a collaborative finance team.

Ideal candidates are in 3rd or 4th year of Commerce Co-op or related programs, with strong Excel skills, solid communication, and a meticulous, independent work style. Returning to studies after the term is completed is required.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year student in the Bachelor of Commerce Co-op or related program and returning to full-time studies.
• Progress toward a degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office with extensive Excel knowledge.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily bank transactions, posting journals and liaising with Finance departments.
• Assist intercompany team with daily activities to post and clear entries.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and related activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports.
• Support ongoing initiatives and special projects.

What You'll Do:

• Administer daily bank transactions, posting journals and working with other Finance departments
• Assist intercompany team with daily activities to post and clear entries, and related activities
• Assist with the preparation of bank reconciliations and related activities
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports
• Support on-going initiatives and special projects

What You'll Bring:

• 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce Co-op program or Bachelor of Applied Business Administration program, and returning to full-time studies upon completion of work term
• Progress toward a degree in business, accounting, or finance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products with extensive knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
• High attention to detail is critical
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and interface with various levels of management in a multi-task, deadline orientated, team environment
