Job summary

OMERS and Oxford Properties seeks a driven QA Engineer (Co-op) to join the Products & Technology team in Toronto. You will support automated test scripts, execute tests, and help identify candidates for automation within an agile environment.

The role requires enrollment in a co-op program, familiarity with test tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and programming basics (Python/Java/JavaScript). Hybrid office presence is expected, with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts
• Execute test cases and document results in a test management tool
• Assist in identifying manual test cases that could be automated
• Work collaboratively in an agile team with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Owners
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and team discussions
• Help configure and manage test data across testing environments
• Learn and apply Agile testing practices in a real-world setting
• Contribute to test coverage reviews against business requirements and user stories
• Assist with troubleshooting and debugging test failures
