Job summary

As a Co-op in the Privately Held Business Group for Summer 2027, you’ll develop client relationships, deliver accounting and tax services, and support CPA prerequisites. The role is based in the office with four days in person per week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree with strong academic performance.
• Seeking CPA designation and completing prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
• Provide solutions to client business and financial issues.
• Enhance firm reputation as trusted business advisors.
• Collaborate with clients across industries.
• Provide accounting services: planning, reviews, drafting FS, payroll, HST.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns; respond to CRA requests.

As a Co-op, Privately Held Business Group [Summer 2027] some of your responsibilities will include:

• Developing deep client relationships by working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service
• Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial issues
• Building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in our growing practice
• Working with clients across different industries and sectors
• Providing accounting services, including planning and executing review and compilation engagement, drafting of financial statements, financial analysis, bookkeeping and assistance with payroll and HST calculations
• Completion of personal and corporate tax returns and responding to related CRA requests for information
