Job summary

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) invites a motivated student to join our Enterprise Architecture team on a cooperative contract in Scarborough, Ontario, hybrid.

The co‑op focuses on developing and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks, participating in design and implementation of enterprise‑wide solutions, and leveraging AI tools for proof‑of‑concept work. You will evaluate current systems, gather requirements, and help develop project plans and timelines while collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a College/University Co‑op program (CS/IT/Engineering).
  • Demonstrates systematic and critical thinking.
  • Proactively takes initiative and is inquisitive.
  • Communicates effectively and builds relationships.
  • Works well collaboratively and independently.
  • Knowledge of EA fundamentals and frameworks is an asset.
  • Familiarity with modeling tools (ArchiMate/UML/BPMN) is an asset.
  • Experience with project management and Agile methodologies is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks and models.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions.
  • Utilize AI toolsets for proof of concepts and content generation.
  • Assist in evaluation of current systems and identify opportunities for improvement.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position ranges from $22/hour to $31/hour, with final compensation based on the candidate’s completed co‑op work terms.

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting co‑op opportunity in our Enterprise Architecture team within our Information Services department. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced architects to assist in the development and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies and solutions. This is a contract opportunity, and the individual will report to the Manager of Enterprise Architecture and Manager of IS Planning and Governance.
