Job summary

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) is offering an eight‑month co‑op in our Digital Marketing team in Scarborough, Ontario, with a hybrid work policy. You will assist with website projects, content creation for social media, and analytics to improve consumer engagement and brand sentiment.

The role requires enrollment in a co‑op program (business/marketing), strong digital marketing knowledge, and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Fluency in French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant College or University co‑op program (business, marketing).
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing: websites, social media, search and email (EDM).
• Exceptional verbal, written, copy editing and proofreading techniques.
• Strong background and/or knowledge of digital analytics.
• Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist website enhancement projects by coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Aid content development for social media to increase engagement and brand sentiment.
• Assist with testing/verification of toyota.ca and lexus.ca websites.
• Help test and verify social media and other digital communications content.
• Attend agency meetings and weekly status calls to stay updated on advertising activity.
• Track and evaluate performance of digital communications and prepare reports for decision making.
• Research digital practices and provide suggestions for website and digital initiative enhancements.
• Perform other tasks in digital communications activities.

Title: Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting co-op opportunity in our Digital Marketing team within our Marketing Division. This is an eight-month co-op term residing at our Scarborough office and will follow a hybrid working policy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist team with website enhancement projects through coordination with key vendors and stakeholders
• Aid team on content development (i.e., creating briefs and coordinating with external vendors) for social media to increase consumer engagement and positive brand sentiment
• Assist with user acceptance testing, proofing and monitoring of toyota.ca and lexus.ca websites
• Help team with testing and verification of, social media and other digital communications to ensure content accuracy and sound functionality
• Attend and actively participate in agency meetings and/or weekly status calls to stay up to date on all advertising and promotional activity
• Assist with tracking and evaluating performance of digital communications activities, developing appropriate recommendations and preparing reports to inform decision making
• Research digital practices and provide suggestions regarding maintenance and enhancements of websites and other digital initiatives
• Perform other tasks and projects as requested in digital communications activities

What You’ll Bring

• Enrolled in a relevant College or University co-op program (business, marketing)
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing: websites, social media (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), search and electronic direct mail
• Exceptional verbal, written, copy editing and proofreading techniques
• Strong background and / or knowledge of digital analytics
• Strong attention to detail
• Take initiative and work both collaboratively and independently
• Interest in digital marketing and knowledge of website, online and social trends
• Excellent organizational and time management to meet deadlines
• Creative and innovative thinking is a bonus
• Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Automotive industry and dealership operations knowledge is an asset
• Fluency in French is an asset
