Job summary

CAE is seeking a dedicated cooperative-education student to join the AI team within the Global Technology group in Montreal. You will participate in maintenance, design, programming, testing, and documentation of software and AI algorithms, with tasks scaled to your level of experience.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and real-world AI projects. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic AI environment, learning industry best practices and contributing to initiatives that

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and techniques
• Proficient in Python, Java or C++, with exposure to AI frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Maintain, design, program, test, and document software/algorithms related to AI system behavior.
• Contribute to the development and validation of AI models and tooling.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze system behavior and improve performance.
• Prepare clear documentation and reports of findings and results.
• Adapt tasks to your experience level while tackling defined challenges
