Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable store sales through achievement of sales and profit goals, budget management and sales forecasts.
• Analyze and utilize sales/financial reports, economic trends and community needs to identify market changes while controlling expenditures.
• Communicates sales results to associates and guides interpretation of results.
• Create operational plans; delegate and provide direction to Managers and Associates; ensure optimal store conditions and pricing.
• Implement new store programs, monitor inventory and replenishment, and address inventory flow problems.
• Execute and monitor asset protection and safety controls; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Serve customers as an ambassador for the store, address feedback and resolve issues to create a positive shopping experience.
• Support community initiatives and develop relationships with community groups.
• Lead and develop Assistant Managers; identify high-potential associates and provide training and growth opportunities.
