Job summary

Jarlette Health Services is seeking a Co-Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services. Qualifications

Join Our Team as a Co-Environmental Services Manager!

The Co-Environmental Services Supervisor/Manager is responsible for the effective provision of Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance Services for the Home, residents, and staff, in collaboration with the Environmental Services Supervisor/Manager. Ensures the Home, its equipment, and linens are well-maintained and clean.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably with leadership in healthcare or a relevant setting, in accordance with the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021 ss.70 and Ontario Regulation ss. 98/22 (2);
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma is preferred;
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices related to housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance;
  • 1 year of maintenance-related work experience preferred;
  • Ability to perform minor repairs (e.g., caulking, patching, painting walls);
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills for effective teamwork in a diverse environment;
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
  • Active interest in ongoing education;
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions;
  • Valid Driver’s License.
