About the Role :

The Co-Environmental Services Supervisor / Manager oversees Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance services, ensuring the home, residents, and staff are supported effectively. You will ensure that the facility, equipment, and linens are maintained in a clean and good state.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably with leadership in healthcare or a relevant setting, in accordance with the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss.70, and Ontario Regulation ss. 98/22 (2);
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma is preferred;
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices related to housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance;
  • At least 1 year of maintenance-related work experience preferred;
  • Ability to perform minor repairs (e.g., caulking, patching, painting);
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Flexible and able to work effectively in diverse environments;
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
  • Active interest in ongoing education;
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions;
  • Valid Driver’s License.
