Join a leading healthcare provider as the Co-Director of Care (RPN)/Staff Education Coordinator. This role involves ensuring optimal resident care, managing nursing services, and coordinating staff education. The ideal candidate will have a nursing registration and experience in Long Term Care, with a commitment to ongoing education and quality improvement.
Under the direction of the Administrator, the Co-Director of Resident Care (RPN) is responsible and accountable for ensuring the provision of optimum care to promote the well-being of each individual resident. This role involves ensuring the delivery of nursing services to meet the assessed needs of residents and managing and coordinating home-wide programs. As the Staff Education Coordinator at Jarlette Health Services, you will work under the direction of the Director of Resident Care, providing leadership in coordinating and meeting the educational needs of staff. Additionally, you will oversee infection prevention and control initiatives, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate infection control programs, and build capacity internally and externally to manage infection prevention issues. The role also involves delivering infection prevention and control education, conducting audits, and applying relevant legislation and best practices.
