Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery including milling machines and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CNC programming languages and software.
• Ability to use hand tools and measurement devices for setup.
• Basic math skills for tolerances and adjustments.
• Certifications or experience with crane operation and forklift driving preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct setup.
• Inspect dimensions using calipers and tools for quality during setup.
• Program CNC machinery to optimize cutting and assembly processes.
• Perform ongoing quality inspections during setup.
• Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshoot downtime.
• Support assembly tasks ensuring correct alignment.
• Prefer candidates comfortable with varied parts and non-repetitive work.
