S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for talented CNC Operators who have a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoy working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

As a CNC Operator you will:

  • Set up, adjust and operate CNC machines (TC5000, Laser, Metal Turning, Brake Press, Form Brake etc.) according to work orders and specifications with minor programming.
  • Use manual pump trucks, cranes (overhead/jib) and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s).
  • Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, target plans and verify correct run quantities.
  • Visually inspect parts after each machine cycle and perform inspections as required.
  • Optimize the running of parts to best take advantage of the machine’s operating time.
  • Fill out production boards with output for the shift as well as assist in planning afternoon shift production.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices.

Who are we looking for? Someone who has:

  • High school diploma.
  • 1 year of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, go no-go gauges, etc.
  • Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 22 lbs.

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Work Location: 90 Belfield Road, Etobicoke M9W 1G4

Shifts Available:

  • Day shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3pm).
  • Afternoon shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday - Thursday; 4pm - 2am).
  • Weekend shift is 36hrs/wk (Friday - Sunday; 6am - 6pm).
