Job description

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple CNC machines to produce precision parts and components, with a focus on hard- and micro-machining. You will utilize your expertise in CAMtool and MasterCAM to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines for hard- and micro machining applications
• Use of CAMtool and MasterCAM software for programming
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards
• Train and mentor junior CNC operators in specialized machining techniques
• Collaborate with engineering and coworker to optimize manufacturing processes
• Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC operator, with a minimum of 5 years in hard- and/or micro-machining
• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, specifically using CAMtool and MasterCAM
• Strong knowledge of hard- and micro machining techniques, strategies and processes
• Ability to setup multiple workpieces at the same time to support unattended machining
• Excellent knowledge of metric and imperial system
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Background in tool manufacturing and/or tool making is beneficial
