Job summary

Cabico is seeking a Production Machine Operator to join our team in Coaticook, Quebec. This hands-on role operates and monitors production equipment, performs basic adjustments, and inspects the quality of manufactured parts in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting, can lift up to 50 lb, and is prepared for the evening shift (3:45 p.m.–1:45 a.m.) with a $2.00/hour premium.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive tasks.
• Stand, bend and work for extended periods.
• Read and understand work instructions.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Comfortable in a dusty environment with varying temperatures.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment according to procedures.
• Perform basic machine adjustments for optimum operation.
• Inspect quality of manufactured parts against standards.
• Identify and report production issues, defects, or malfunctions.
• Conduct regular quality checks and complete required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workstation.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, productivity, and safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
