STRIVE is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Hamilton, ON to hire an Experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist on a permanent basis. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances in a hands-on production environment.

The role offers a straight day shift, competitive hourly pay of $30–$35/hr, and a comprehensive benefits package. Experience with FANUC and MAPPS controllers is required, along with proficiency with conventional mills and lathes.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Experience programming using FANUC controllers.
• Experience with MAPPS controllers.
• Experience with Mori Seiki, Doosan, or Nakamura-Tome equipment is an asset.
• Ability to read technical drawings and verify tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

THE ROLE

STRIVE is working with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an Experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join their team.

You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines while ensuring components are produced accurately and within required tolerances. This is a hands-on production shop environment supporting the manufacturing of medium- to heavy-duty conveyor components for the bulk material handling industry. The ideal candidate is an experienced machinist with strong attention to detail who is comfortable working with CNC and conventional equipment.
