Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Senior CNC Setter/Operator to produce precision components using CNC mills and lathes. You will prepare CNC programs, set up machines, adjust offsets, and support setup and operation personnel to ensure high-quality parts.

This full-time role in Barrie, Ontario runs Monday to Friday with a day shift and two afternoon shifts, on a bus route. Immediate raise at hire and benefits are included. Opportunity for permanent hire and a referral program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year degree in machining, preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a setter/machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Cam software and G & M codes.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts using CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Prepare CNC programs and set-up machine.
• Support machine setup and operation personnel.
• Able to adjust offsets and codes to produce accurate parts.
• Identify quality issues on machined parts and rectify issues.
• Create programs for machines.
• Will require operating an overhead crane and forklift.
• Train and coach new hires.

Are you an experienced CNC professional with a keen eye for precision and a passion for high-quality machining? We are seeking a Senior CNC Setter/Operator, where you'll play a critical role in producing precise components to drive success.

CA$22.00–CA$26.00 hourly

Full-time

• Work - Monday to Friday
• 1 Day shift and 2 Afternoon shifts
• On Bus route

Details

• $27-$35/hour
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Produce parts using CNC Mills and Lathes
• Prepare CNC programs and set-up machine

• Must be able to read and speak English
