itec group in Canada is seeking a CNC Grinder to produce precision aerospace components on the Day shift, 7am to 3:30pm. You will set up, operate and monitor CNC OD grinding machines, interpret GD&T drawings and maintain tight tolerances to meet aerospace standards.

You will inspect parts with micrometers/calipers, complete documentation, and troubleshoot to improve efficiency. Long-term growth opportunities exist within the organization.

Formación

• 2+ years of CNC grinding experience in precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Able to work the Day shift (7am–3:30pm).

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate and monitor CNC OD grinding machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
• Interpret GD&T engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform machine setups, tool changes and adjustments to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Ensure all machined components meet dimensional, quality and aerospace industry requirements.
• Complete production documentation, inspection reports and job-related paperwork.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.

The role offers hands-on experience working with precision grinding equipment, interpreting technical drawings and producing high-quality components to meet strict aerospace industry standards, with an opportunity for long-term growth within the organization.

Daily responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor CNC OD grinding machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
• Interpret GD&T engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform machine setups, tool changes and adjustments to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Ensure all machined components meet dimensional, quality and aerospace industry requirements.
• Complete production documentation, inspection reports and job-related paperwork.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.

Mandatory Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience operating and setting up CNC grinding machines within a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision-machined components.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and machine setup procedures.
• Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
• Able to work the Day shift (7am to 3:30pm)

Salary Range: $35/hr to $40/hr + benefits, RRSP match, bonus
